Android App
The Android app is your main tool for bookkeeping on the go: record an entry in seconds, sign in by scanning a QR code, and look back over calendar and heat-map views — all in your pocket.
System requirements
Android 10 or later.
Screen layout
The app uses bottom tab navigation and is made up of three main parts:
| Area | Contents |
|---|---|
| Home | Income/expense overview, projected spending, budget and remaining, calendar, heat map, last-12-period trend, and the transaction list |
| Stats | Statistical views such as the category breakdown (see below for the full analysis capabilities) |
| Me | Entries to ledgers, categories, tags, accounts, budgets, plans, debts, health score, Security Center, settings, and more |
Highlights
- Quick entry: tap the "+" in the bottom-right corner of the home screen to record an entry; amount input supports calculator operations and an "original price / discount" mode
- QR-code sign-in: show the QR code on the desktop app or web app login page and scan it with the app to confirm signing in on the computer
- Fingerprint login: once enabled in the Security Center, a successful on-device fingerprint check gets you into the app quickly
- Calendar and heat map: switch between month view and year view to look back at each day's income/expense distribution and how much you recorded throughout the year
- Batch actions: long-press in the transaction list to enter multi-select mode, which supports bulk deletion
- Offline cache: when the network is poor you can still view the data already loaded; it syncs automatically once you are back online
- Pull to refresh: pull down on any list page to refresh the data
Settings
- Dark mode: follow system / light / dark
- Check for updates: get the latest version and its changelog
- Account & security: trusted device management, login history
About the analysis features
Some of the deeper analysis pages are still being brought to the Android app step by step; for now, the complete experience is in the web app and the desktop app.
